William Reilly, EPA Administrator during the first Bush administration,
wrote an op-ed in the NY Times about protecting the Clean Water Act
against attempts to weaken it. You can read it here: Keep the Clean Water Act Strong.
Next year is the 40th anniversary of this
landmark law, and we've come a long way in cleaning up our nation’s
waters. But there is still work to be done, and as we approach this
anniversary, we need to ensure the effectiveness of this monumental law
that protects our water.
