Grissum Building 319 Grant - Building the underground detention area will store rain water runoff and then be covered with pervious pavers. This project will store rain water runoff from the employee parking lot... treat it for pollutants, then will release it, slowly into the Bear Creek Watershed. This system mimics natural processes caused by trees, vegetation and microbes that help break down and remove pollutants. Think of it as a giant Britta Water Filter for stormwater!
